One of the finest clutch players in the history of lacrosse, Montreal Les Quebecois captain John Davis threatens to dominate yet another league—the NLL.
Davis, although one of the smallest players in the pro league at 5-foot-8 and under 160 pounds, controls play when he is on the floor with an awe-inspiring assortment of moves. He is without a doubt the most capable defensive

player in the game.
Selected No. 1 by Montreal in the inaugural draft, Davis has assumed the duties of floor general. The 30-year old has won scoring championships with Whitby Red Wings (1961), Hastings Legioneers (1962), Oshawa Green Gaels (1963-65) and Peterboro [sic] Lakers (1966-73).
